Hudson Asphalt Terminal Case Study

ECF just completed a design build construction project for Hudson Asphalt Terminal LLC (HAT). Located in Hudson, Colorado, construction on the terminal began October 1, 2023 and it received the first asphalt railcars in July of 2024.

The HAT terminal is now an exclusive distributor of Cenovus liquid asphalt to Colorado hot mix producers, shingle manufacturers and emulsion producers. HAT is the newest US asphalt storage and distribution facility in the Cenovus network.

The terminal has over 280,000 barrels of storage, 20 heated rail car sightings, two on scale loading racks and ready to serve the front range market of Colorado.
